| Jesus Christ |
| Though He had the right to every form of splendor, He voluntarily laid aside all of His divine prerogatives to become part of His own creation. He became a single cell in the uterine lining of a Jewish virgin named Mary.
There He began to grow, physically, like everyone else. |
| He ascended into heaven and sat down, for His work, of both creation and redemption, was finished. |
| He was born, like everyone else, but He lived a sinless life. Then He demonstrated His love for His people in this - that while they were still sinning and disregarding Him, their Creator, He died on a Roman cross to atone for their sin and so defeated death itself.
He rose from the grave on the third day in a glorious new physical body. |
| Long, long ago, before there was anything else, there was God. Jesus was there, too, because He is God. |
