Jesus Christ
Though He had the right to every form of splendor, He voluntarily laid aside all of His divine prerogatives to become part of His own creation.  He became a single cell in the uterine lining of a Jewish virgin named Mary.
There He began to grow, physically, like everyone else.
About the Church
He ascended into heaven and sat down, for His work, of both creation and redemption, was finished.
He was born, like everyone else, but He lived a sinless life.  Then He demonstrated His love for His people in this - that while they were still sinning and disregarding Him, their Creator, He died on a Roman cross to atone for their sin and so defeated death itself.
He rose from the grave on the third day in a glorious new physical body.
Long, long ago, before there was anything else, there was God.  Jesus was there, too, because He is God.
