| The Clann |
| There are, in Gaelic, many words to express family and/or organizational relationship. The word clann emphasizes blood relationship. While the Scottish clans (Donnachaidh, Stewart, Campbell, MacDonald, etc.) claim relationship through generational descent, we claim relationship through the blood of Christ. So whereas Scottish clans require proof of kinship by means of surnames, we only require a profession of faith in Christ and His atoning blood . (You don't even have to be a Celt!) |
